Classes can also be designed to meet your schedule! Get together 3 or more friends, and we can set up a custom class to meet your needs. Birthday, bridal, school groups, and work parties are lots of fun. Together we can pick your project, and dates! If you have can't make the date or it has already gone by, email me your interest and i'll add you to a waiting list for the next class!

Fall 2008 Class Schedule

Beveled

Snowflake

Make a snowflake to hang in a special place for the holidays!

Students will design their own snowflake, using different beveled shapes. Students will learn how to copper foil, and solder a unique snowflake.

All supplies included.

This class always fills up fast, so sign up early. Several dates are offered.

Cost $60.00

Fine Silver Hoop Earrings

Using fine silver we will first make jump rings, then you will learn the basics of soldering jump rings with a bead on them.

Fused Jewelry

Make several pendants, and earrings using fusible 90coe glass. You will get to play with dichro slide and paper punches, various frits and stringers to create some original pieces. Glass will be fired after class and will be ready to pick up later in the week. This class will not use dichroic glass.

All supplies included.

Stained Glass

with Inclusions

This Stained Glass Class will meet twice on two consecutive Sundays. Students will construct a small panel that we design together, using seashells, rocks, glass globs and other items using the copper foil method.

Bring inclusions to first class. Slice nautilus shells and stained glass are available for purchase at the studio, or you may bring your own.

Prerequisite- prior stained glass class and/or glass cutting experience.

Course fee $70.00

October 19 + 26, Sundays, 1pm-4pm.

Falling Leaves Necklace

Dress up your fall wardrobe using a variety of leaf beads. A perfect way to learn basic beading techniques including crimping. While making this necklace you will also learn how to make your own precious metal clasps.

Students will have some flexibility in design of their jewelry. If you have a some favorite beads you would like to incorporate, bring them, and we can work to see if we can use them. All supplies included. Includes lampwork leaves made at the studio.

Colors and Dichroic Snowflakes

This class is similar to the snowflake class above, except we will be using dichroic bevels and/or colored bevels.

Students will design their own snowflake, using different beveled shapes and glass. Students will learn how to copper foil, and solder a unique snowflake.

Fused and Etched Dichroic Jewelry

Make several pendants, and earrings using fusible 90coe dichroic glass. We will use dichroic glass and rubber stamps Glass will be fired after class and will be ready to pick up later in the week.
